Lanta Palm Beach Resort bietet ideale Taucherbungalows. Neben die Reception befindet sich die Palm Beach Divers Tauchbasis.
Lanta Palm Beach Resort liegt an Lantas längstem und unbestreitbar schönstem Strand. 3 Kilometer reinsten weißen Sandes wurden, wie man sich leicht vorstellen kann, 'Long Beach' benannt und sind das Zuhause mehrerer rustikaler Strandbars, Restaurants und Resorts.
Abdul (der Besitzer) und seine Familie führen das Resort bereits seit 15 Jahren. Ihre Standards bezüglich Hygiene, Qualität und Service sind sehr hoch. Es fällt leicht, sich an so einem Ort wie Zuhause zu fühlen.
Im Resort stehen Bungalows in 4 verschiedenen Preiskategorien zur Verfügung :
Traditioneller Thai-Stil (basis Bamboo Bungalows)
Hölzerner Bungalow im Thai-Stil mit Terasse, kaltem Wasser und Ventilator.
Luxurious Bungalow (basis cement bungalow)
Steinerner (basis) Bungalow mit Terasse, warmen Wasser und Ventilator oder Klimaanlage.
Superiour Luxurious Bungalow
Steinerner luxe Bungalow mit großer Terasse, 1 Doppelbet, warmen Wasser, Klimaanlage, Fernseher und Kühlschrank.
Family Superiour Luxurious Bungalow
Steinerner luxe Bungalow mit großer Terasse, 2 Doppelbetten, warmen Wasser, Klimaanlage, Fernseher und Kühlschrank.
Abhängig von der Jahreszeit variieren die Übernachtungskosten auf Koh Lanta erheblich. Die Hauptsaison dauert von Anfang November bis Ende April. Von Anfang Dezember bis Ende Februar ist Hochsaison. Die Nebensaison dauert von Anfang Mai bis Ende Oktober.
Wenn Ihr Euren Urlaub bei uns während der Hochsaison verbringen wollt, empfehlen wir Euch frühzeitig zu buchen, da das Resort zu dieser Zeit bereits einige Monate im voraus ausgebucht sein kann.
Best times of the year to visit Koh Lanta (price, weather and having things to do) is between end of September and end of November and from beginning of February unil end of March. December and January are also nice months weatherwise, but the accommodation is everywhere fully booked, so the prices are high ! Although we dive and are open all year around, we do close when the weather gets too rough, this is from the end of April until half of May and sometimes we have some storms in June.
I know the lonely planet and rough guide might still give you the rainy season in other times of the year, but it is better to check it out before you get here. Write us an email or call us. Für den Fall, dass Ihr gerne die Gegend erkundet, findet Ihr nur einen kleinen Fußmarsch entfernt viele unterschiedliche Bars und Restaurants am Strand. Es gibt italienisches, deutsches, thailändisches und anderes europäisches Essen. Und natürlich gibt es auch viele Cocktailbars, damit Ihr jeden Abend den atemberaubend schönen Sonnenuntergang genießen könnt. Lantawadee Resort & Spa is located close to the Pra-Ae beach (Long beach), the beautiful beach of Lanta Island about 70 Kms. away from the center of Krabi Province Thailand. Lantawadee offers Fan rooms and Airconditioned Rooms. For families there is a Family room also. The rooms are very nice decorated and clean inside and are situated in a tropical garden.
The rooms have an attached, outside showers and toilets. This gives you the impression that (although you have nice hot water) you are indeed on a tropical island.
The bar serves tropical shakes and cocktails and in the restaurant you will be able to find a wide variety of Thai and Western style dishes.
Pearl Beach Resort
Pearl Beach Resort is situated just behind our dive center. The Bungalows (fan and airconditioned) are builed in a charming Thai style and have an outside shower and toilet. In th
e fan rooms you have a moskito net, cold water shower and a wide veranda outside, where you can relax. The airconditioned bungalows are cement style bungalows and are build at the back of the resort. Pearl Beach Bungalows are build in and around a lush tree area, which cools down your bungalow.
Next to the reception their is a small Internet place and a big restaurant, with a small outside bar. A's (the owners name) family will make you feel right at home
Pearl has generaly a lot of backpackers staying there, except for the December & January month.
Paradise Resort (Klong Nin Beach)
Paradise Resort (www.lantaparadiseresort.com) is situated just infront of our new dive shop, on another beach, Klong Nin Beach. This is a bit more isolated beach, then Longbeach, but the charm is that you do get a bit more Thai style restaurants here and normally the prices for food & drinks is cheaper on this beach. The 
resort is ca. 10 minutes walking from a little town, where there is a bank machine, some clothes shops and some mini markets and a hairdresser.
There is a nice beach straight in front of the resort, and on this beach there are some different Thai style restaurants. A special recommendation to Paradise Restaurant and Otto Bar (5 minutes walking), where they also do serve European food.
The family that owns Paradise is very sweet and have travellers coming back year after year. There is a small swimming pool in the resort, where you can try your first dive in. They have 34 bungalows, from very basic till deluxe, nice and clean bungalows. Most rooms have splendid sea views.
