When can you start ?
You can start anytime (you will have to reserve atleast 1 month in advance, so we can make arrangements for you) between August and the end of February. Starting dates after February is only possible for divers who already have more then 100 dives and are doing the short program Divemaster (this offers you less amount of diving). Between April and August (because of weather conditions) we only offer IDC's.
What happens after the course ?
We will teach you how to become an excellent Padi Divemaster or Padi Instructor. We will also show you where to find jobs and how to apply. We will help you with applying and if we have openings in our dive center, and you fitt well in, you might be able to work here (this is not always possible, we only have a half year season).
Normally Padi Instructors find jobs easily, Padi Divemasters however might have to work somewhere to show they can do the job. If you are serious about having a career in diving and you do want to make yourself easy to employ, then you will have to become a Padi Instructor and get some useful Padi Speciality Instructors Certifications aswell.
What is included ?
During your Instructors Internship, you will learn a great deal about diving, equipment (maintainance), customer service, fish life, working together on dive boats and all the different aspects of being an instructor. We offer a 3 months Internship from Open Water Diver level or higher (or equivalent with another diving agency).
Minimum requirements:
* you need to be 18 years or older
* you need to be in normal health (go to a diving physician in your own country)
* you need to be a certified diver for 6 months, before you can join for the Instructors part of the Internship
Included in your Internship Package are the following:
* Padi Advanced Diver Course
* Padi EFR Course (CPR and First Aid)
* EFR CFC - Care for Children (CPR and First Aid for Children)
The two above course includes AED and Oxygen Use
* Padi Rescue Diver Course
* 5 Padi Specialty Diver Courses (Nitrox, Deep, UW Digital Photografy and 2 of your choice)
* Padi MSD ( Master Scuba Diver) certification
* Padi Divemaster Course
* Padi IDC Preparation Course
* Padi IDC (Instructor Development Course) Course
* Padi IE (Instructor Examination) - All fees paid
* EFR Instructor Course and Padi Shark AWAREness Diver or Snorkeling Distinct Speciality Instructor Course or Padi Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor Course
* Unlimited diving (on air)
* All course materials, manuals and certification cards included (and to keep)
* Accommodation for 3 months (if you choose this option)
* Your own BRAND NEW equipment: everything you need for diving in Thailand. And you can keep the equipment after your Internship. Have a look at the list of equipment we offer you ! This is all the equipment you need to have as a Padi Professional Member.
* Operational management training and Sales training in our dive center
* compressor use and equipment maintainance workshop
* Help with perfecting your Curriculum Vitae and finding a job
